Start Date: ASAP

Basic Salary: £22,568 (Negotiable, dependent on experience) 💰

Bonus/On Target Earnings: £26,000 (Uncapped)

Location: Medway City Estate 📍

Hours: Monday to Friday – 9am-5.30pm

You might be

  • Experienced in estate agency sales

  • An experienced Sales Progressor

  • A Mortgage Processor or Financial Services Administrator

  • Working in conveyancing in a firm of solicitors

  • Or a Sales Administrator already, looking for more of a challenge

Our Sales Administrators are pivotal to the service we provide our customers, and we will train you to the highest standard to excel in this responsible and vital role.

We need you to be:

  • An excellent communicator, both over the phone and with written correspondence

  • Excellent with IT

  • Customer service skills that are second to none and able to work as part of the team

  • Ability to build rapport with clients

  • Confident, resilient and have a “can-do” attitude

  • Organised and have a great work ethic

  • Professional and able to work under pressure

The Role:

  • Delivering a high level of customer service by “out-passioning” our competitors

  • You will be responsible for co-ordinating the exchanges and completions of a high number of properties within the necessary timeframes

  • Responsible for liaising with buyers, vendors, solicitors and mortgage advisors

  • Working to targets and goals

  • Supporting the sales team as necessary

So, what will I be doing on a day-to-day basis?

  • Dealing with initial enquiries from customers, helping them on to the property ladder

  • Explaining details and benefits of Shared Ownership schemes together with requirements and eligibilities

  • If you love properties, you will be one of the first to get a look at new listings as you will be busy producing all the details to send out to our customers and branches

  • Working with the Arun branch network to monitor resale shared ownership listings, ensuring best practice is followed

  • A bit of marketing so updating material and advertising our stock on property sites such as Rightmove, Zoopla etc.

  • Sending out standard and ad-hoc communications to our customers and our network of branches and following these up as needed

  • Helping with customers and branch enquiries

  • Typing and distribution of sales letters

Do I need anything else?

  • Ideally a decent typing speed of around 45 wpm and the ability to quickly learn new computer systems as well as the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook and Excel. If you are unsure, there is a great website (typingtest.com) that will give you a speed and accuracy rating and it is absolutely free!

  • The ability to spot mistakes and maintain a high level of accuracy and detail, ensuring company standards and procedures are reached and that we are compliant with all relevant rules and legislation
